Wow, what a year this has been. The enormous amount of personal and professional growth I've attained over the course of the last 12 months or so has been interesting to go through. The setbacks as well. Starting this business has been one of the most frustrating but also one of the most rewarding things I've done to date. Bring on 2012

To close out 2011 and clear the decks for the new year, I just conducted my first Fire Sale through an interview my good friend J.A. Konrath conducted with me for his blog. I put 10 covers up. They were covers that didn't sell, or the original author decided to go in another direction, etc, etc, just basic, lite covers, that I sold at a hugely reduced price but the catch was, they were sold "as-is". I was willing to put your name and title on the book and the cover was yours.

I did NOT expect the clamor for these. I was very pleased to see those covers go to good authors who just needed something simple (or cheaper). As of right now, all of them have sold and I just put them up yesterday. Maybe this is something I can work into a regular thing in the coming year. Who knows what 2012 will bring? I know I'm ready for it!
